Do these small things and you'll be in love with your car for ever
1. CLEAN IT WEEKLY
The best way to clean your car is to use a good detergent and water each weekend. Detergent helps remove any embedded dirt from the surface. Dust and dirt will accumulate as your drive your car. It is especially important to wash your car if your car was exposed to rain. The water droplets that accumulate on your paintwork will leave tough watermark stains if you let them dry under the sun, which you'll find it especially tough to remove them later on. Your best bet is to give your car a quick wash and wipe dry if you've driven in the rain.
2. WAX AND POLISH ONCE IN TWO-MONTHS
To keep your paintwork gleaming, you need to wax it. If you have an hour to spare during your weekend, it is really not that difficult to wax your car. Before waxing, make sure you wash and wipe dry your car. Park your car in a cool and shady spot. Apply the wax in a circular motion using the included sponge. Work on your car section by section. Use a soft cloth to wipe of the excess wax.
3. DON'T FORGET THE WHELS
The wheels are the only part of your car that are directly in contact with the dirt on the ground. Do not forget to clean them. Make sure you clean your rims with soap and use a pressure wash to remove grime and dirt form them. Brake dust will accumulate there, making your car look dirty even if the paintwork is spotless. To complete the wet & shiny look, apply tyre wax after every wash/wax.
4. KEEP YOUR INTERIORS CLEAN
Cleaning the interior of your automobile can be a small or large task, depending on how clean you normally keep it. You need the vacuum to clean the carpet and go over the seats if they are made of fabric. Remember to move the front seats both front and back so that you can vacuum under them. Also get down in the cracks of the seat. The back or trunk of the vehicle will need to be vacuumed out as well.
5. REPLACE BROKEN PARTS
Replacing cracked door panels, sun visors that are puffed up and just the plastic around the rear view mirror can go a long way in lifting up your interiors and giving it a fresher and 'new car' like look. So do not binge on these. Also, next time you send the car for servicing ask them to fix up the body rattle. Also, fix up rattling parcel tray's which have speakers on them. The old adage if it ain't broke don't fix it doesn't apply here.
